The vessel, Shore Thing, is a beautifully appointed 51ft sailing catamaran acommodating a maximum of 10 guests to ensure we provide you with the best personalised service.

Description

'Shore Thing' features a large comfortable saloon, fully shaded back deck area and a large front deck and trampoline area for lazing about in the shade of the sails. The helm features comfortable seating so guests may enjoy the journey alongside their captain with a bird's eye view of the natural wonders of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park, including turtles, sharks, dolphins, dugongs, manta rays and spectacular whale watching in season!

All tours include endless activities including sailing, snorkelling, kayaking, fishing and shore activities. Scuba diving is also available on request.

3 Day 'Coral Garden Spectacular' Tour

Join them on a journey to some of the most remote areas of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park!

The destination is the beautiful Sandy Point and Pelican Point Sanctuary, perfect places to explore the shallow reef lagoons either by kayak or by donning a mask, snorkel and fins.

The snorkelling experience is world-class as you surround yourself with pristine coral reef and an abundance of colourful fish life. Snorkel with marine turtles, reef sharks, sting rays and a variety of other exquisite marine life.

Try catching a fish for dinner!

Enjoy walking along sparkling white beaches and view turtles in their natural feeding grounds.

Dugongs can also be seen on occasions grazing on seagrass beds and inquisitive Dolphins can often be seen chasing fish throughout the clear water.

5 Day 'Ningaloo Escape' Tour

5 days of action packed adventure begins as the trips winds their way through spectacular dense coral formations surrounding Coral Bay before sailing north along Batemans Bay, home to a population of majestic Manta Rays.

We visit Point Cloates, where there are numerous turtles feeding in the shallow waters.

It's also possible to step foot on Fraser Island, the Ningaloo Reefs only sand island visible only at low tide!

They visit the historical ruins of Norwegian Bay whaling station and hear tragic tales of the many shipwrecks that lie on the Ningaloo Reef.

There will be plenty of opportunities inbetween to view turtles, dolphins, dugongs, whales (seasonal) as well as kayak, fish and snorkel in some of the most magnificent spots you can find along the Ningaloo Reef.

9 Day 'Ultimate Ningaloo' Tour

With 9 days exploring the pristine Ningaloo Reef Marine Park, you will be exhilarated as we set sail for an adventure.

There will be plenty of opportunities to view turtles, dolphins, dugongs, whales (seasonal) without even getting in the water! Then just imagine the thrill of what you may discover when you don a mask, snorkel and a pair of fins!

There will be plenty of time to enjoy kayaking or to find a perfect snorkelling lagoon or that stunning secluded beach.

Enjoy glorious sunsets over the Indian Ocean while indulging in a little me time.

The 9 Day 'Ultimate Ningaloo' Tour combines the 5 & 3 Day Tours, with a day of leisure in Coral Bay on Day 6 (lunch not included day 6).

Snorkelling & Kayaking

The snorkelling experience is world-class, surrounding yourself with pristine coral reef and an abundance of beautiful fish life. With so many amazing snorkelling spots along the Ningaloo Reef, there is always something new to discover. Whether youre an experienced diver or a complete novice, you will marvel at the snorkelling experience Ningaloo Reef Marine Park has to offer.

Shore Thing also has on board well-equipped kayaks for guests use. Ningaloo Reef Marine Park is the perfect kayaking location, paddle through sheltered lagoons, over sandy bottoms and through coral gardens.

All snorkelling and kayaking activities are accompanied by a professional PADI Dive Master & personalised tuition is available for beginners.

All equipment supplied however you might like to bring your own.

Fishing

Try your hand at catching a fish for lunch!
There is nothing tastier than a fresh Emperor on the BBQ or some fresh Tuna sashimi.

All fishing equipment supplied.
Fish caught is for consumption on board only.

Scuba Diving

Available on request, at additional charge.

Shore Thing accesses remote areas of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park providing opportunities to scuba dive locations most visitors dont have access to. Sightings of sharks, turtles, stingrays are almost as regular as clockwork, and the coral formations are some of the most spectacular in the world. All the small things are there too including Nudibranch, Mantis Shrimp, Anemone Fish, Moray Eels and Cuttlefish. Shallow lagoon waters make it an underwater photographer's paradise.

During our regular charters, diving is offered as an option but is not the sole focus of our activities. We require anyone wishing to dive with us to fill out a medical questionnaire and show a Dive Certification Card.
We encourage divers to be at an Advanced Open Water level as dives on the outer reef are usually in excess of 18m/60ft.
All dives are supervised by a professional PADI Dive Master.
Because we are diving in very remote areas we strongly recommend all divers to have suitable dive evacuation insurance.
Scuba divers are required to supply own dive computer, BCD & Regulator. Sail Ningaloo can assist with hiring equipment if required.
